WildWick Photography Adventure – Seven Fields Nature Reserve 🌿

Guided walk, teaching photography, time in the community

Today Cllr Jacqui Ireland and I had the pleasure of leading a small group of residents on a guided photography walk through the stunning Seven Fields Nature Reserve – one of the most biodiverse spaces in our parish.

Organised as part of the WildWick summer series by Haydon Wick Parish Council, we explored hidden tree lines, winding pathways, and open meadows, sharing tips on composition, light, and perspective along the way.

Nature has a way of teaching us to slow down, to really see the detail in a butterfly’s wings, the shape of a hedgerow, or the light dancing across wild grasses. This reserve offers more than just scenery, it’s a space to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Each participant received a small guidebook/checklist to accompany the walk.
