September 2025 Priory Vale Community Update
Your Priory Vale team – Vinay Manro, Leanne Stevenson, and Alex Hughes – have stayed active across the community this month, focusing on local priorities, green spaces, and resident concerns.
• Challenged Swindon Borough Council on poor service standards and funding issues.
• Reported broken paving, damaged utility chambers, and potholes across Priory Vale.
• Raised missed bin and green waste collections with Swindon Borough Council.
• Continued supporting the petition to protect Swindon’s allotments for future generations.
• Marked World Rivers Day, highlighting the River Ray’s vital role in local biodiversity.
• Called for an Infrastructure First approach in the Swindon Local Plan.
• Promoted environmental awareness through recycling and biodiversity campaigns.
• Engaged with residents at local events, drop-ins, and street visits.
• Supported youth and community initiatives, including the 7th Swindon Scouts.
• Worked with partners to plan a community Halloween fundraiser at the Museum of Computing.
