A planning application has been submitted to replace the current slow EV chargers at Orbital with sixteen rapid chargers in the section of car park opposite Lidl and near McDonalds. It is good to see faster charging coming to the area for those with electric vehicles. I will be asking questions about expected noise levels, operating hours and the loss of general parking spaces to make sure this upgrade does not disrupt local residents or create nuisance.
