Overflowing bins and no one listening

Not so much #BinGate just getting people to talk and not blame each other

I am pleased to confirm that the long-standing waste management issues at this block of flats in Haydon End have now been resolved and a month in its working.

Residents had raised concerns about overflowing bins and insufficient capacity, while also facing unfair blame for the problems.

Following my request, Swindon Borough Council worked with the housing association to review the site. As a result, the correct number of bins have now been provided.

The final step will be the delivery of food waste caddies, which should further improve the situation for residents. I will continue to monitor this closely to ensure the improvements are maintained.
