Orbital resurfacing update - on track

Councillor Leanne Stevenson and I checked the Orbital entrance this morning. The works carried out last night have already resurfaced one inbound lane and one outbound lane. Access stayed open throughout.

This follows months of residents raising concerns after Swindon Borough Council refused to accept responsibility for the road. The contractor is due back tonight to finish the remaining work. We will continue to provide updates as we have them.

We have also raised comments on behalf of residents about the side roads that sit within the ASDA estate. This includes the crossing that floods at times and the road towards the petrol station where potholes have formed. ASDA now has these surfaces under consideration.
