McDonald’s Drive Thru: 24 Hour Proposal
The third time McDonalds have applied for 24/7 - what are your views
A planning application has been submitted to remove all time limits on the McDonald’s at Orbital Retail Park. If approved, the drive thru would be allowed to open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Current permitted hours:
06:00 to 23:00 (Monday to Saturday)
06:00 to 22:00 (Sundays and Bank Holidays)
The drive thru sits directly behind homes on Vistula Crescent. Residents are concerned about night-time noise, increased vehicle activity and the return of anti-social behaviour in the car park; issues that took years to bring under control.
