Family picnic at Luna Park Oakhurst

Razzmatazz entertained and the smiles didn’t stop

I had a lovely afternoon at the Family Fun Event at Luna Park organised by Haydon Wick Council.

The family picnic, with entertainment from Razzmatazz Events, brought together over 180 local residents for an afternoon full of sunshine, laughter, and community spirit.

The weather was definitely on our side, and with magical performances, silly games, and interactive fun from the brilliant entertainers, the smiles didn’t stop… especially during the foam-filled finale!!

Huge thanks to Mario’s Ice Creams for helping to keep everyone cool and to Cllr Vinay Manro, who generously treated all attending parish staff and councillors to an ice cream. Thank you to fellow parish Cllr Leigh Jackson also who joined us to support the afternoon.

It was also a great opportunity to speak with residents – several upcoming events were mentioned, and a few local matters were raised with me on the day, which I’ve since passed on for follow-up.

A fantastic celebration of summer, shared moments, and local pride.
